This laboratory system is designed for the electrochemical, catalytic high‑pressure synthesis of ammonia.

At the core of the system is a membrane reactor in which up to three membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) can be integrated in parallel and characterised at pressures of up to 80 bar(g) and temperatures of up to 550 °C.

The unit is designed for unattended 24/7 operation.
