System Design
The system presented here is used as a subsystem in turbine test rigs for regulating air mass flows. The primary function of this mass flow control unit is to supply a controlled air flow with rates of up to 18 kg/s to the turbine engine. The operating temperature is 80°C, and the gas mixture is metered at a pressure of approximately 50 bar.
