System Design
This test system is used to evaluate catalysts for the selective hydrogenation of liquid hydrocarbons and, optionally, liquefied gases. These can be investigated in two identical reactors that can be operated both in parallel and in series. Liquid hourly space velocities (LHSV) of 0.1 to 10 h⁻¹ with catalyst volumes of 20 to 50 ml can be achieved. The system is designed for unattended 24/7 operation.
