Vapour–Liquid Equilibrium
This laboratory system is designed for the precise determination of phase equilibria, in particular the solubility of specific gases such as carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and methane in various liquids.
For this purpose, a flat stainless‑steel plate reactor with a volume of 30 mL can be charged with the desired individual phases and operated over a temperature range from ambient temperature up to 400 °C.
Operating pressures from atmospheric pressure up to 60 bar(a) can be realised, enabling accurate vapour–liquid equilibrium measurements under industrially relevant conditions.
